QUANTA

Nathan Dalton is an Australian filmmaker who has a background not only in filmmaking (Diploma of Screen) but also has a Bachelor of Science (Physics) and Graduate Diploma of Education, giving him a unique perspective developed organically through real experience in science and academia. With a background in many forms of filmmaking, Dalton has written and directed numerous award winning short films, music videos and corporate videos.

A longtime fan of gritty dramas with relatable characters, he has a deep appreciation of the the truth and honesty that low budget personal films have to offer. QUANTA will be one of these films in writer/director Nathan Dalton's debut feature film. 

Strongly inspired by imaginative and high concept genre-driven cinema, Christian's heart lies in story telling, whether that be producing, writing or directing. Since graduating in 2007, he has worked in various areas of film and television production - most recently as one of the producers of the indie sci-fi movie Arrowhead (2016). He has also recently written and directed the proof of concept fantasy adventure short film Return Flight, which is in development for a larger format. He aims to develop more genre-driven projects for both Australian and in an international audience.

Jesse is an Australian independent filmmaker who studied a Bachelor of Multimedia (Media studies), graduating from Swinburne in 2007 before working in motion graphics, editing and visual effects, while making numerous short films. Jesse recently directed two live action TV commercials for Walt Disney but his biggest achievement to date is writing, directing and producing the recent indie sci-fi Arrowhead.  He currently has two more feature films in development.

Ben Whimpey directed his first film at 7 years of age using LEGO pirate men as actors. He still has the film and considers those LEGO men to be some of the most talented actors he’s worked with. Twenty five years on, Ben is a partner of Indimax Productions and has a bank of successful projects to his name spanning films and documentaries. He is committed to producing high quality and profitable entertainment and trying to ensure that the artists he works with get that most elusive of artistic rewards: A paycheck. Ben has completed his Masters in Screen Arts and Business and is the Executive Producer on QUANTA.

Samuel Baulch is a cinematographer, editor and motion graphics artist. In 2014, he headed the Arrowhead camera department as well as editing and being responsible for over 200 visual effects shots during postproduction. The ability for Samuel to see a movie from the early stages through to its final form is an important factor in ensuring the movie is delivered on time and on budget. 

With over a decade of filmmaking & video production Sasha brings experience and creative flair to the art department. Her ability to create beautiful & believable production design with her resourcefulness and a bit of movie magic, make her a valuable member of the QUANTA team. This will be her fourth feature film and first as a Production Designer.
